Kid's Camp POLICIES - Please Read This
Kid's Camp is for Boys and Girls aged 6-14 years of age
This web page is not a conclusive listing of policies for Kenosee Boys and Girls Camp. Policies are for the safety of your child while at camp. We will add to this page on an ongoing basis.
There are three violations that will cause your child to be immediately dismissed from camp:
1. Not wearing a PFD (life jacket) while doing ANY activity on the lake. There are no excuses accepted, even from camp counselors.
2. Entering the pool without official supervision by an actual ON DUTY camp life guard.
3. Leaving the camp grounds without approval and official supervision.
Cell Phones, Cell Phone Cameras, And Other Cameras
We strongly discourage campers bringing their cell phones to camp. They are kept very active at camp. Camp is a retreat from regular life and a return to nature and the nurturing of their relationship with God. Cell phones do not promote that. We do not tolerate cyber bullying or bullying of any kind. We are here to have a lot of innocent fun. Inappropriate use of cameras, especially cell phone cameras, regarding the user or inappropriate pictures taken of other campers and posted on the internet, printed, or otherwise used, shown, shared or transferred will not be tolerated.
Bullying
We do not tolerate any form of bullying. Let's have fun and make new, possibly life-long, friends at camp.
Use of Your Child's Image on our website or promotions material
Authorized staff members may take pictures of activities your child is involved in. Your child may be in these images. The images are used for a camp keepsake and may also be used for camp promotion in brochures, on our website, our camp Facebook page etc. Your child will NOT be named or identified in any personal way unless we seek your permission as the parent or guardian. IF YOU DO NOT want us to use your child's image at all, please let us know preferably PRIOR to the start of camp.
